Where GLoB Lives.
Boston Public Schools are the foundation of everything we do. GLoB is embedded inside schools, not bolted on, so students earn certifications as part of their education, not in spite of it.
Current Partner Schools
Three schools are live in the first phase of GLoB. Each brings a unique student population and technical focus to the program.
Madison Park Technical Vocational High School
Boston's only technical vocational high school, Madison Park brings a natural home for GLoB's certification tracks. Students here already think in terms of applied skills, GLoB adds industry-recognized credentials to that foundation.
Active Tracks
Albert D. Holland School of Technology
The Holland School's technology focus makes it a natural fit for GLoB's full grade 6–12 pipeline. Students can begin their certification journey in middle school and build continuously through graduation.
Active Tracks
Tech Boston Academy
Tech Boston Academy's innovation-focused model aligns with GLoB's project-based approach to certification. Students engage with real-world technology challenges while earning credentials that matter to employers.
Active Tracks
5 Schools in 5 Years.
GLoB is a long-term commitment to Boston. The roadmap is deliberate, each school added with intention, each cohort built on what came before.
Madison Park, Holland School, and Tech Boston Academy. Program infrastructure established, first cohort enrolled, Cisco NetAcad partnership active.
Fourth school added. Curriculum refined based on Year 1 outcomes. Employer partnership network grows. First cohort of certified graduates enters the workforce.
Fifth school joins the network. Full 6–12 pipeline operational across all schools. City and state partnership formalized. GLoB model documented for replication.
Is Your School Next?
GLoB is actively seeking its fourth and fifth partner schools. We're looking for BPS schools with a commitment to student outcomes and an appetite for something different.
Boston Public Schools
GLoB is a BPS-first program. We work within the system, not around it.
Grades 6–12
The full pipeline matters. Schools with middle and high school grades can offer the complete GLoB experience.
Technology or STEM Focus
A school with existing technology programming or STEM emphasis is best positioned to integrate GLoB's curriculum.
Bring GLoB to Your School
We're actively identifying schools for Phase 2 and Phase 3. If your school is a Boston Public School with a technology focus and a commitment to student outcomes, we want to hear from you.
Phase 2 school selection begins Spring 2027
