Every partner plays a distinct role in the pipeline, from funding and curriculum to mentorship and hiring.
Schools enroll
Boston Public Schools identify cohorts of 15 students per grade level. GLoB coordinates with school leadership to embed certification tracks into the existing schedule.
Partners provide curriculum
Cisco NetAcad, CompTIA, and Microsoft supply industry-standard courseware, instructor certifications, and lab environments, at no cost to the school.
Community wraps around students
Community partners like ASC Camden Dream Center provide mentorship, tutoring, and family engagement to keep students on track from 6th grade through 12th.
Students earn credentials
By graduation, students hold industry-recognized certifications in Networking, Cybersecurity, or AI & Data Science, credentials that open doors to college and careers.
Employers hire
Industry partners and workforce organizations connect certified graduates to internships, apprenticeships, and full-time roles in Boston's growing tech economy.
Join the ecosystem
We're actively seeking partners across four categories. Whether you're a school, employer, funder, or community organization, there's a role for you.
Schools
Bring GLoB to your students. We work with BPS middle and high schools to embed certification tracks into existing schedules with full curriculum and instructor support.
Employers
Hire from our certified talent pipeline. Post internships, sponsor cohorts, or join our employer advisory board to shape the skills students learn.
Funders
Support the expansion of GLoB to all five schools and beyond. Philanthropic and grant funding directly enables student seats, instructor training, and lab equipment.
Community orgs
Wrap around our students with mentorship, after-school programming, and family engagement. Community partners are the connective tissue of the GLoB ecosystem.
